Commercial websites in the medical field have their own specifics in online promotion. There are different ways to get leads for clinics, but in this article we will consider our current project on SEO promotion.

Placement in Yandex Directory
A medical clinic must be registered in the Yandex.Directory and Google My Business services.

This is necessary in order to find it on maps and to improve ranking in local search. At the same time, you need to special database fill the content of the cards as much as possible: methods of communication, services, prices, photos, post publications, etc.

 

 

In Yandex.Directory, priority placement was also additionally ordered, which allowed us to get more traffic due to priority ranking on maps, placement of advertising materials and a service showcase:

The percentage of mobile users is constantly growing – this is a stable trend of recent years, so much attention was paid to the adaptive version of the site so that it meets all usability standards and search engine requirements:

 

Selection of semantic core, compilation of relevance map
More than 300 key phrases were selected for SEO promotion of the center. The semantic core includes queries with commercial intent for all services of the clinic, while priority areas were highlighted:

Phlebology;
Surgery;
Ultrasound.
When selecting queries, Yandex search results were studied and search queries with weak prospects of getting into the top 10 of Yandex results were immediately excluded (if the entire top for kuinka paljon minun pitäisi kuluttaa alan mainontaan? a high-frequency query is occupied by aggregators, reference books and large information sites, then attempts to “push” it into the Top 10 with a limited budget are a virtually impossible task).

Immediately after agreeing on the semantic core with the customer, we developed a relevance map:

Queries are distributed into clusters according to the search results analysis;
Each cluster was assigned a corresponding relevant page;
For each relevant page, the optimal data for promotion is indicated for placement: title, meta tag description, main heading h1.

It is also planned to add informational search queries to the semantic core for the purpose of SEO optimization of the blog and obtaining additional traffic.

Refinement of technical aspects, structure
A technical audit of the site was carried out and the following work was performed:

Circular links (when a page links to itself) have been removed from all menu items and the logo. This is necessary for the correct distribution of internal link weight and makes it easier for search robots to index the site, which is important for promotion
The correct hierarchy of h1-h6 headings has been set up.
Canonical pages have been defined and the rel=”canonical” attribute has been placed where necessary.
301 redirects to pages with the “/” symbol at the end of the address are configured to avoid duplicates in the index.
